Hi to everyone and I hope this finds you enjoying some beautiful Spring days. We had a much needed weekend getaway to Kristen's home town where I got to attend a bridal shower on Saturday and then a wonderful Easter Sunday with her huge family. It was a great time.
Today I wanted to share a card I created with that wonderful new Pion paper I purchased a few weeks ago on Linda's http://www.zibbet.com/TheFunkieJunkie .I used a little bit of Tim Holtz distress to color the cheeks, my Copic for the flowers and used Glossy Accents to make the flowers stand out a bit. I used a spellbinders die for the layout which is a favorite and adhered little flower appliques and crochet trim which are also found in her zibbet store. The flower was created with Tim's small tattered flower die. I put the little flower applique in the middle and tied a double twine string around it. I love how it turned out. This next card was stamped with one of my very favorite Hero Arts stamp.I joined my first challenge on Frilly and Funkie and used some of the wonderful screen purchased on her website. I also used my copics to color in the petals and then used DS Fairy Dust to make it sparkle. I used TH distress inks for the back ground to warm it up a bit. The sentiment was backed on Linda's cool screening which I mentioned that made it just pop. How did she come up with screen? I just love her ideas. The seam binding was sprayed with Lindy's and a pin and bead were then added for an accent.
This is such a pretty and delicate card. The Pion paper is a great choice to use with that adorable image. Linda does have some really unique and pretty findings at her store! Thank you for joining us at Frilly and Funkie!
